Tried this place for the first time. Had a craving for Ramen. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen, and my wife had the cold noodles. We also had the Tuna Roll, and Gyoza.
The Tonkatsu was good, pork and chicken broth combination. I have to say it was an interesting flavor. The summer noodles were different and she and I both had two different types of noodles. Big pieces of pork in the Tonkatsu and just enough broth. My wife enjoyed the summer cold noodles and the tuna roll.
The service was on point. Two ladies running back and forth in between several tables and no one had an empty glass or dish.
The food was good, great flavor and just enough heat. -

Finally got an opportunity to try this place and kind of regret it. Should've listened to a friend's advice against it but I had to try it for myself.
I ordered the vegetarian ramen and the takoyaki.
Immediately disappointed by the vegetarian ramen since the eggs were fully hardboiled and the noodles looked like instant ramen and were undercooked. The only saving part about this dish was the broth, which was one of the better vegetarian ramen broths I've had.
The real killer was the takoyaki. It looked undercooked and when I took a bite, the batter was practically raw. When I told the server, she said that's how it's supposed to be, but I don't think she knew I had tried takoyaki 30 times prior and that was definitely undercooked.
Really unimpressed with what I was hoping was a decent ramen joint in SCV. You can probably save $15 and make better ramen at home. Never settle for raw takoyaki. -

Love the spicy mabo ramen. Careful though because it's REALLY HOT. And this is coming from someone who loves spicy food and has a high tolerance for spice.
Their regular ramen, in my opinion is pretty average which is why I'm not giving them 5 stars. Place is also rather small and the decor is really tacky. Soda is sadly served in a can (sorry no free refills).
I pretty much only come here because I love the mabo ramen so much. -

The fried rice that I had was the best fried rice I've ever had, and I wish I would've purchased two, lol. The ramen was delicious too, but the rice was the best, so I'll say it again. The slim ramen noodles were great and was a good mix of umami and savory flavor that paired well with the vegetables and meat within the dish.

This place was pretty damn good. Their prices are reasonable. Their flavors are on point. Ordered the shoyu ramen and calpico. Will definitely be coming back.
